Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ExpoYield collects, uses, and protects information when users access booth traffic analytics, team dashboards, and event counters.

Last updated: May 9, 2026

Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, profile image when provided by Google, and authentication identifiers needed to sign you in.

Event workspace information: team names, event names, event locations, dates, timezones, visitor counts, demo counts, scanned lead totals, and related analytics.

Operational data: invite tokens, session records, device identifiers used for live counter sync, timestamps, and basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

We use account information to authenticate users, manage access to teams and dashboards, and show the correct workspace after sign-in.

We use event data to provide booth traffic counting, event summaries, conversion analytics, team sharing, and archived event views.

We use technical and operational data to keep the app reliable, prevent unauthorized access, diagnose errors, and improve the product.

Google user data

If you sign in with Google, ExpoYield requests basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile image. This data is used only to create and access your ExpoYield account.

ExpoYield does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or other sensitive Google account content.

ExpoYield does not sell Google user data and does not use Google user data for advertising.

Sharing and disclosure

Event data is visible to users who have access to the same personal workspace, shared team, or demo workspace.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the security of the service, or to service providers who help us operate the app under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

Data retention

We keep account and event data while your account or workspace is active, unless deletion is requested or retention is required for legitimate operational or legal reasons.

Archived events remain stored so users can review historical analytics, but they are removed from the main active dashboard view.

Your choices

You may stop using Google sign-in and use password sign-in where available.

You may request deletion or correction of your account information and event data by contacting the ExpoYield operator.

You can remove users from shared teams using team access controls when those controls are available in the product.

Security

ExpoYield uses authentication, team access checks, password hashing for local accounts, and database-backed permissions to protect account and event data.

No web service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for an MVP event analytics product.
